4th Grade 3rd Exam Test Scope – Spring, 2023

Dear Parents,

The Third Monthly Exams are upon us once again.

Below is the exam schedule and test scope.

Please remind your child to go over vocabulary and

reading stories listed in the test scope.

l   Listening Exam: Wednesday, 06/14

 

l   Oral Exam: Thursday, 06/15 and Friday, 06/16, Saturday 06/17

 

l   Written Exam: Tuesday, 06/20

LISTENING & ORAL EXAMS:

l   Vocabulary Focus: Week 14 – Week 17

(Communication Book)

l   Reading Street Stories:

l   The Man Who Named the Clouds (p. 322 – p. 335)

l   Adelina’s Whales (p. 350 – p. 361)

 

l   Listening Skills: Listen for homophones, words with –ed and –ing endings, and new vocabulary words.

 

WRITTEN EXAM:

l   Vocabulary Focus: Week 14 – Week 17

(Communication Book)

l   Story Comprehension:

l   The Man Who Named the Clouds (p. 322 – p. 335).

l   Adelina’s Whales (p. 350 – p. 361).

 

 

l   Phonics Focus:

l   homphones
