  1. precipitation (n): rain, snow, sleet, or hail that falls to or condenses on the ground
  2. atop (adv): on the top of.
  3. jet stream (n.): a narrow variable band of very strong predominantly westerly air currents encircling the globe several miles above the earth
  4. narrow (adj): of small width in relation to length
  5. current (n.): a body of water or air moving in a definite direction, especially through a surrounding body of water or air in which there is less movement
  6. feet/foot (n.): a unit of linear measure equal to 12 inches (30.48 cm)
  7. shore (n): the land along the edge of a sea, lake, or other large body of water
  8. active (adj): engaging or ready to engage in physically energetic pursuit
  9. regularly (adv): with a constant or definite pattern, especially with the same space between individual items
  10. B.C. (adv):  The time period before the common era; the time period before the life of Jesus Christ

  20. carpool (v.): to share cars to travel to work or school
  21. barn (n.): A building on a farm for animals, tools, or supplies
  22. apple cider (n.): fermented unpasteurized drink made from crushed apples
  23. dairy (adj.): Relating to milk and things made from milk
  24. ferment (v.): the chemical breakdown of a substance by bacteria, yeasts, or other microorganisms, typically involving effervescence
  25. soar (v.): maintain height in the air without flapping wings or using engine power
